Kits:
Specializing in “hand picked” kits.
The fabrics in our quilt kits and fabric packs are painstakingly chosen for a variety of colors, values, textures and genres to create a one of a kind perspective. The looks we create rarely come from one line of fabric. We have a reputation for over dyeing and/or bleaching fabrics when necessary to achieve the particular color or value required to complete a story. Our goal is to create quilts that will blend into any sophisticated home decor.
All of our selections are made in very limited numbers.
Like the color of one quilt but the pattern of another?
The majority of our “kits” are fat quarter bundles so the opportunity to mix and match bundles with patterns is endless. (See Fabric Packs below)
Patterns:
We offer accessible patterns that have a special twist or unique effect that inspired us and will hopefully inspire you as well. We find it especially exciting to create a look markedly different than the one presented on the cover of the pattern. Be sure to notice “our” versions of the pattern.
In our effort to inspire and educate we have created our own pattern line where we strive to create projects that are visually intriguing but are a cinch to make. We want you to enjoy the process of creating the quilt or tote bag – not be frustrated by it. We will continue to expand our pattern line and hope to include more totes and block of the month projects as well. Most of our patterns require fat quarters which make it easy to use any of the fat quarter bundles we offer as your color pallet.
Notions:
There are far too many notions available to ever carry everything so we are offering only our favorites and those we personally can’t do without. We will explain what it does and why it works best for us. We will continue to look at new items and will pass them on to you if they become one of our “must haves”. After all, the right tool can make all the difference.
Fabric Bundles:
Our fabric
bundles are carefully coordinated using fabrics from many lines with a wide range in textures
and genres. I personally choose each
fabric with an eye toward what I imagine the quilt made from the bundle will
look like. My focus is on bringing a
fresh look together with many motifs, scales and values. I am always excited to see how mixing fabrics
in this way gives a quilt movement and depth. I think you will find our eclectic bundles
bring a richness to your quilt or tote bag that gives it a sophistication you
will be thrilled with. Most of our
bundles are fat quarters to easily work into a variety of projects.
Books:
The right
book will offer you innovative ideas in technique, color and design. The best books have multiple projects that
encourage your creativity. We offer
books that fill these needs. New or old,
these books are the ones we find ourselves constantly referring to for information and inspiration. As it is always our goal to give our customers the best value, we are partnering with Amazon to fill our book selections.
Fabric: We are pleased to showcase a small sampling of our fabrics. Most of our yardage is limited so don't delay and check back often for new selections. There is a minimum order of 1/2 yard per fabric.
