Description
Zzyzx Road is a lone exit off highway 15 on the way to Vegas and beyond.  it is quite literally in the middle of the desert and near nothing. Since I was a child I was drawn to this unusual name that seemed something out of Dr. Suess.  The desert colors along with what I imagined to be a zigzagging road were my inspiration.
